  • The wine is ready now and the nose is open from the start. We decanted but no need really. Open nose of light spice, dark fruits light leather. Really nice nose and probably the peak of the wine. No oak here and we would struggle to place is as a Californian. On the palate however it is light, lacks depth of flavour and is very short on the finish. Good wine, nice to enjoy now, well round and silky. 89-90

  • - It's somewhat balanced with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a medium finish - This wine was awesome tonight, one of the best bottles I've had in awhile for 8.00 glad I picked this one up a few years ago wish I had 2 more. Excellent body and flavor very fruit forward with a nice smooth long finish. This wine is defiantly drinkable now and I would even say you could decant it to bring more flavor and remove some sediment.

  • Still going strong, a hint of pepper, great dark fruits in the taste. Glad we still have another bottle.

  • Not bad, outrageous restaurant price, tasted okay but probably affected by the poor stems, certainly better than the Monte Xanic Cab we had the night before, these Mexican resorts really need to step up their wine knowledge and selection - Dark, medium/full bodied with a nose of plum, cherry, blackfruit and vanilla, simple, balanced, fruit forward, sweet/smooth on the palate with a short finish (79 Points).
