Bought for fun when a local vendor discovered forgotten back vintages. Trying some over-aged non-Grand Cru Chablis for a mere Andy Jackson seemed like a worthwhile experiment. Batted 2 for 3 with two 96's and a 97: one corked strike-out, one home run, and tonight's very hard single up the middle. All of the freshness and minerality one loves in a fresh young Chablis is gone -- but what's left is actually really nice! Lime flowers and cream. (Also saved a glass for the next day in a small filled-to-the-top jam jar, and it held up great.)
