  • Very nice intense sweetness, (at 10% alc.), zippy vibrant notes but also lush apricot with some tangy citrus-lime thing going on. Very nice, fresh, very well integrated and almost youthful. EH b-day at my place.

  • From 375. Drunk over several days.

A fantastic nose. Honeyed, with some spice, citrus marmalade, florals, with the fruit being stone more than orchard. Expansive and rich on the palate, with a BA textural feel to it with matching acidity that lifts it beautifully conveying a sense of intensity without weight. There's more of the same fruit, honey, and florals on the palate, with spice, creme brûlée, and brown sugar notes, all coming together effortlessly into a wonderful whole. This has near perfectly balanced RS, fruit, soil and acid. Harmony is the word that comes to mind. It seems like it is in suspended animation since my last delicious bottle over a decade ago. A beautiful wine drinking at peak with plenty of time in hand. Beguiling.

  • No detailed notes, but vibrant and fairly complex. Nice pairing with a berry tort.

  • drink over a week, swet but with balacing acidity and a bit of stringent mouthfeel at the back end.

  • Next to last bottle of this from the cellars of Schloss Bueker, and the wine seems very youthful. It's got that spicy, scratchy, almost feral Rieslaner wildness, as well as very ripe peach, apricot jam richness. Imagine if someone added a dollop of horseradish spiked with Sriracha to the jam! It brings back taste memories from a blind tasting well more than a decade ago. Delicious wine that is oddly static. Time standing still in the bottle.
