A Great French Dinner (Indianapolis, IN): The hits just keep on coming! Easily the most complex and balanced sweet wine I’ve ever drunk. It is a sweet wine, but no remote sense of being cloying, or sweet just to be sweet. Ethereal. A complete wine that rivals the greatest whites and reds on the table.

This btl was astounding. Honeyed tropical fruit with spices on the nose, but not jammy smelling. Also, some floral notes but not screaming gewurztraminer, at all. In fact, Bonnie (queen riesling) thought that this was riesling. Flavors repeat on the palate and, while this is a sweet and lushly textured wine, it has wonderful acidity which keeps it fresh and vibrant. Superb and a tremendous pairing with fois gras pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

iTropical, insistant, honeyed, quite lovely - but there are some oxidized notes, and I am not reaylly sure, if I waited to long to open this. Today it os certainly more thn a sweet wine, and it works with food (cheese), and the acidity is certainly there - but I had hoped for more. Drink up.

Packed with honey-drenched tropical fruit flavours ranging from pineapple to lychee, Gewurz florality and touches of caramel and spice, very rich and slightly viscous, but nicely balanced with enough acidity to keep it from feeling too heavy, and impressive length.

Very pretty wine with tropical fruit, flowers and herbs. Not cloying, light on its feet, a great way to end a meal.
