  On the nose there are strawberries with a dusting of white pepper. The palate has a profusion of black pepper on its extended finish but the attack and mid-palate is all cherries.

For its category it is a good quality wine as it has a concentration of fruit, a very refreshing length, and an appropriate balance between the somewhat stalky and coarse tannins, fruit, and medium acidity. A simple but complex wine meant to drink the year of purchase. Will not benefit from further bottle aging.
