  • Nice Rose. Had at a BBQ and was very enjoyable and a real crowd pleaser.

  • On the nose there are strawberries with a dusting of white pepper. The palate has a profusion of black pepper on its extended finish but the attack and mid-palate is all cherries.

  • clear, med-intensity, ruby-salmon with white watery miniscus, tears to form and fall, ruby highlights clean, medium intensity, youthful, aromas of strawberry, tangerine zest, rose petals, fresh raspberries, herbaceous aroma of fresh leaves palate: dry, acid is medium, tannin is medium, somewhat stalky and course, body is medium, alcohol is medium (estimate 12.5) length is medium plus flavor intensity: medium+ flavors include fresh raspberry, cherry, garrigue, leaves, strawberry, twigs Conclusions: CCBL This is a very good example of a commercial rose wine, made to drink young and priced for the market. For its category it is a good quality wine as it has a concentration of fruit, a very refreshing length, and an appropriate balance between the somewhat stalky and coarse tannins, fruit, and medium acidity. A simple but complex wine meant to drink the year of purchase. Will not benefit from further bottle aging.
