Community Tasting Notes (1) Avg Score: 90 points

  • My friends tasted this blind and pointed towards German Spätburgunder. This was a qualified guess based on how the wine performed. It was primarily turned towards red (and ripe) berries. Light on the palate with some complexity and a nice balance but lacking in concentration and depth. Elegant and juicy, fine acidity and well integrated tannins, but it should have had a bit more fat on the bones.
