Jim Coley Pours Some Dain La Encantada + Melville and York Creek (Starkers in KC): I need to confirm this was the Estate. I have enjoyed this every vintage I have tried. Makes a great summer sipper. Like previous vintages this a big fruited and somewhat sweet viognier. It took a bit for the aromatics to wake up but they did come around. The wine showed rich apples and pears along with a little honeysuckle. The reason I enjoy this wine is because there is this hedonistic and easy going quality but it always seems to have nice balanced acidity. Very nice. If I had to guess I would assume there is a little bit of residual sugar.
