  • Golden color, very pleasant and classic apple melon bouquet . Medium to heavy mouth feel, delicious and balanced. Very fresh, while stood well to food, it was exceptionally good with soft cheese. I would buy this any day of the week!

  • PnP w/ immediate TN. COLOR- light yellow-gold, slightly viscous. NOSE- spritzy, tangerine w/ its spray, lemon soap; very pure; salt and buttermilk; steely. PALATE- showing well; bouquet flavors manifested on a silky scape of pure Chardonnay grape juice. Acid is high but not particularly zippy (shows on the tongue sides). A creamy, though not oaky, full mid-palate transitions with ease to the medium+ length brine and honey laced finish. The flavor elements don't change much from entry to finish, and they follow the nose profile. This is just how I would have it for what it is. Drink now while it's at its zenith. 88 pts.

  • Nose of floral, citrus, signs of crispness. Smooth, lush mouthfeel with good weight. Tastes of grapefruit, pineapple, more tropical fruit but they are balanced out by acidity of this wine. There is also touches of lemon and orange peel on the finish which has a decent length. Drank with chicken, sauteed onion and garlic. Went great with the meal and still outstanding on it's own. I like this wine especially for $ 14.

(Gunn Estate Unoaked Chardonnay) #4; (tasted blind); COLOR-pale yellow; NOSE-a lot of passion fruit; little frissante action; little peach juice; some golden apple; PALATE-very crisp and clean; great acidity on the back-end makes it food friendly; tastes like a $15 Chard; more of a New World stainless steel chard; easy drinking; very solid effort; NM-90; GV-86
