Bright cherry red in color, heady perfumed aroma, some spicy notes, quite intense tart cherry fruit, slightly resinous, a little tar. I wouldn't say pretty, but it makes a point.

  Very smooth right from the bottle. This very small production wine has scents of blueberries, tar, moss, and blackberries. Perfect amount of alcohol, very nice and has a medium body to it. Doesn't taste like a traditional Oregon pinot, but the grapes used for this were very stressed and has a great concentration of flavors. Tastes of dark red, ripe cherries, plums, earth, and a hint of black pepper. A great wine that I wish had more production...if you can get it from the winery still, I highly recommend it. It should last for 5 years, but is ready to drink now.

  Recently received shipment from winery despite new repressive legislation in favour of the mafioso distributors and their political henchmen. Originally tasted in barrel last summer at the winery. We heard the sorry tale of the voles' attack; one the like of which I had not heard before. Then there was slight oak, purple red color, marionberries, somewhat chemical bouquet, some chocolate and prunes, high acidity.
