Time is doing great favors to this wine, as some of the baby fat is dropping off, revealing a bit more spine. Red fruit and peaches with a stony, minerally core. It is still quite sweet, so it is sensitive to pairings (very good with a spicy Chinese chicken dish).

Full of apples and white cherries with talc and stony mineral accents; moderately sweet and medium bodied, but a little soft and round without the acidity I'd like.

Terry Theise tasting - German wines from 2007; 6/10/2008-6/13/2008 (Tribecca grill): the best this has been. Ripe core over a smoky mineral middle, very complex. put it away and wait.
