Nose: Enticing. Cinnamon, bakery cherry & floral. Touch of anise. Beautiful. Taste: Pomegranate, black cherry, very pleasant finish. He/she who tasted before now probably wish to have it back.

I think my last tasting note on this was unkind - much more generous but still elegantly austere and firm. Still needs a few years but there is bright cherry and soil notes that remind you that not all new world pinot is sweet gloop. Good stuff.

Dark colour. On the nose raspberry, red currants and some darker notes of blackberries. Some herbs, spice and liquorice, also light oak. A bit unbalanced at times. On the palate structured with noticeable tannins, slightly rough. Medium acid and darkish fruit, less nuances than on the nose. Goes for power over elegance but does not quite manage it. Still a good wine.

Wine Education Service Australian Regional Diversity Tasting (LSE, London): Quite deep in colour. Earth and wood aromas with some red berries and cherries. Soft and fleshy palate, strawberries with well integrated tannin. Fairly long fruity length. Nicely balanced and drinking well now.
