In decanter for 5 hours. Not a fresh nose, gasoline like , with burned notes. When I am in a positive mood:figues, roses, tabacco. No farm, no earth. A little tired wine, lacking fruit, spices are there. A long finish, but with nice memories? Of course there can be a matter of taste, but the wine definitely lacks energy and fruit. Quality is there, so 91 points, but is it a real pleasure? Two more bottles to go, we will see.

"Remarkably better on the nose than on the palate, but what a nose it is! Concentrated forest fruits, blueberry jam, vanilla, dark bitter chocolate (evolving in the glass towards coffee tones), dried herbs, violets and almost smoky leather. I could just sniff this forever, but as wines are supposed to be drunk (so I've been told) and this one has a touch too much unsupported acidity which left me wanting, 4 stars instead of the 4.5 I was tempted to give based on the aromas alone."

Red fruit combined with beautiful signs of aging with tobacco and leather. Power is fading. what a joy!

Very meaty palate. Note: Wine needs to warm up in order to unleash its meaty profile... drinking wine at cellar temperature yields a weird sour taste.

This was one seriously corked wine. Imported by Martine Wines.
