Bu au resto AVV La Suite avec les FOUDUVIN chapitre de l'Estrie! Bu en même temps que le 2003 et Tignanello 2006. Les 3 vins étaient similaire dans leurs profiles, bien fruité et délicieux. Long et tout en équilibre. 3 excellents vins!

Vraiment super beau ce 2006 encore une fois. Tout un RQP du temps, il en sans cesse augmenté depuis les dernières années. De belle saveurs de cerises et d'anis avec un peu de romarin et de poivre. Les tannins sont bien enrobés et l'acidité est bien dosé. Finale longue et bien persistante. SUPERBE!

A nose of cherry and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Super Tuscan, with blackberry, black cherry, smoke and spice on smooth finish. In a perfect drinking zone, decant due to sediment. From signed Michael Mondavi bottle. www.winelx.com

Very nice and ready to drink now. Ripe fruits of black cherry, black currant, black berry, dark chocolate, some leather and a hint of tobacco. Smooth and integrated tannins.

Upon first taste, it was dry and lifeless. After about an hour in the decanter, it evolved wonderfully with a seamless texture, fully integrated tannins and dark red fruits. Stunning with a rich beef stew.

(Ornellaia Le Serre Nuove) #2; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-a little radish; quite floral (lilac & panzees); black currant; some creaminess (vanilla / mocha) on the back-end; PALATE-more of a New World play (more like a Napa Cab or Spanish Priorat); more creaminess; more Oak characteristics coming through (egg nog and wood); nice cinnamon aspect; big and meaty wine; licorice on the back-end; undeniable vanilla/mocha with red fruit (strawberries); it's structured and well made, but a little too New World for me; I like it, but it's not changing my life; AG-94; GV-89+
