Meget dyb, mørk, rød farve. Utrolig intens bouquet af umoden pære og grøn peberfrugt. En lille smule sødme, dog uden den klassiske smag af mørke bær. Markante tanniner som gør at den skal ilte længe. Utrolig behagelig og kraftful vin med lang eftersmag. Kan sagtens tåle at ligge nogle år.
