Artificial cork. Very dark purple. Graphite on the nose. Plum and
    cherries.

Finish is very good, and long.
    Better day 3. 89.

  • Drank this wine with a steak dinner, and it was pleasant. A typical second or third-tier Australian Caberenet. Nothing to fault, nothing to praise. The lovely, dark purple color did not deliver the depth of flavor one would expect. Simple, straight-forward fruit, little complexity, no nose to speak of. Not a bad wine for the price, but honestly I couldn't tell much difference between this wine and the regular bottling.
