Drank this wine with a steak dinner, and it was pleasant. A typical second or third-tier Australian Caberenet. Nothing to fault, nothing to praise. The lovely, dark purple color did not deliver the depth of flavor one would expect. Simple, straight-forward fruit, little complexity, no nose to speak of. Not a bad wine for the price, but honestly I couldn't tell much difference between this wine and the regular bottling.

Artificial cork. Very dark purple. Graphite on the nose. Plum and
cherries.
Finish is very good, and long.
Better day 3. 89.
