My second and last bottle, purchased at the source. Gorgeous lemon custard, orchard and stone fruit on the nose. Oak is well integrated on the nose and hard to detect on the almost austere lemon oil, pear and mineral laden palate. Nice enough wine right now but seems to be running out of gas, lacking the stuffing for further development. Road weary, still holding on but soon to fade. Drink up.

Medium gold color - clear. Medium aromas of baked apples/ fresh yellow apples with hints of butterscotch/ new oak. Well balanced on the palate, baked apples and butterscotch primarily, with nice underlying acidity and minerality. Some bitterness on the back end, but appears less so than previous tasting. Medium(+) length. Great wine with roast chicken. Probably time to drink up

Medium-Dark gold color, clear. Moderate(+) aromas of butterscotch/ caramel and Golden Delicious apples with nice mineral undertones. Smells of some new oak. Nice mouthfeel with palate of spiced apples and butterscotch. Moderately tight/bitter in mouth with medium acidity and medium finish.

Starting to drink well, this gives a nascently complex profile of flowers, tangerines, pears, almonds and chalky minerality with a distinct note of fennel and a bit of subtle butterscotch on the long finish. Texture is creamy but there is sufficient acidity to keep things balanced. Very nice wine.
