  pristine bottle. on pop n pour - color is translucent red - prominent bricking at edges. Nose is of minerality, some earth, and barnyard - but not dirty. medium body but with good concentration and impeccable balance. Fruit (cranberry, strawberry rhubarb) is integrated and plays a very minor background role to the spicy tertiary flavors. Very elegant and very much in tact.

  Nice juice. Color good. Nose fantastic. Still going strong for 14 years in which was impressive. A big wine. Not a ton of nuance. But enjoyable.
