i was impressed by this, especially at the price point. green apple, citrus peel, butter. refreshing medium acidity beats out any oaking. shortish finish.

I think this would class as a classic Chardonnay style, and not bad effort at that, if you are looking for it. What i mean is that this has the creamy/buttery/caramel type nose and palate for sure. Some oak in there, but this character is not overpowering, balanced. Mid palate comes through with some apple and fruit notes. Finish is that oaky/buttery/caramel quality, but subdued. Not dry, can appreciate some sugar kicking around.
I don't mind this, but also would like some more acid/fruit and less oak, but guess if i wanted this, would look for more SB/PG or other varietal. I agree with general comments previously and Rob M's from summer '09. Good QPR.

One of the best QPR chards out there. Very easy drinking and sure to please the crowds. Not overly oaked and not too fruity, dry or acidic. Great bottle to grab everyday while watching the sun set in the summer without feeling guilty re cost or worrying about matching with foods. Will stand alone nicely.

Not heavy on the oak, soft in the mouth with peach and touch of citrus. Nice with Salmon dinner.

Easy chardonnay, too oakey for my taste, though.
