Friday Night Brown Bagger (R&R's): Double blind. Opens with black fruit with floral undertones, picking up a cedar element with air. Full-bodied, with medium tannins and flavors of plummy dark fruit, spice and brown sugar.

The benefits of a little age were showcased in this bottle consumed along side a ‘12 Tusk that was excellent as well but younger. A full bodied red fruit dominated wine with hints of subtle cocoa, earth and some dark fruit mid palate to finish. Not overpowering at all with smooth tannins and everything in harmony through the long finish. Just wonderful.

Decanted over cocktails. Thick and seamless on the palate with oodles of redcurrant and earth. Purity, density, and simplicity come to mind to describe this example. Thoroughly enjoyable without any pretension.

amazing and probably the best bottle of schrader I've had. have never been able to wait till my Schraders hit 15 years of age, and to me, now that i've had one, I will wait for my others to mature to this age. This was perfectly balanced, delicious - while it was very CA cab, it had a purity of fruit and depth that was so enjoyable and not overwhelming. a real treat and perfect wine with grilled rib eyes.

High tannins and alcohol, yet drinking so smooth with age. A lovely wine that is drinking near the peak.
