  • Past it. Thin light paraffin pink, very little browning. Over the hill about 18 months ago. Mature PN nose: barnyard, fresh cut beef, Indian tea, malt. Light medium bodied; leathery, some grip still perfumed, sweet leather, roses.

  • On the downslope, it's very delicate. Minerality and cherry pits are starting to assert themselves over cherry flavors. Medium finish.

  • light color with watery rim. High acid, bright fruit. Drinkable. Given time in the glass, some of the acid melts away and what you get is pretty standard cherry berry pinot.

  • At first somewhat generic in its taste and smell, but given time in the glass this puts of weight and gives notes of dark cherries, meat, mint. In the mouth sour cherries, crisp, crunchy fruit and medium tannins - reasonable length on the finish. Would be better with food.. Very good for the price (£10) but it might even be worth decanting this if you are going to drink it in the near future. I will buy this again - it is so hard to find reasonably priced Burgundy that gives this kind of taste. Overall very good.
