Rumors of this wine's demise are greatly exaggerated. Great nose of white flowers and citrus. On the palate, balanced acidity and hints of gewurz spice. Really enjoyable and very good.

Lovely domestic Gewurz with some age on it. Very, very dry--I found it completely dry, which is nice and unexpected in a US Gewurz. Restrained, elegant, and classic. Aromas of apple and white nectarine, the flavors were almost steely, with apples and stone. The finish turns a bit more towards nectarine, but this is by no means sweet. Lovely with tamarind curry.

Had this bottle over two nights, first with take-out Chinese and the next with a roasted pork loin. While a very nice wine on both nights, I thought it slightly better the second night. The aromatics were flowery with a hint of exotic fruit, but not quite as pronounced as I expected. On the palate, this was all Gewurtz with lightly textured fruit and a touch of spice/clove on the finish. For California, definitely more dry than not, but not bone dry as some Alsatians. This would be closer to a Zind Humbrecht in style with a hint of RS on the finish. Decent acid and overall a really nice wine that I will buy again. What I enjoyed most about this wine was its overall balance which made it a nice match with food.

Light - dry. No extended notes, liked the wine, but wasn't blown away by any sort of complexity - fairly one dimensional.

Med-low acid, nice pear puree, with some stems.
