PnP. Clear, deep dark purple color. A very nice, good drinking wine. Med body, nice balance, long finish/legs. Nothing off. Good value in a nice drinking window.

Nose struck me just like melted lifesaver candies. Was otherwise a fine but simple wine. I really loved the 2005 vintage of this wine, but the 2006 just doesn't deliver on the same caliber product. I'm content to drink this bottle, but won't be seeking out any more the 2006.

Decanted for around 30 mins. I am normally a big fan of primitivo but this one missed the mark. Overly candied on the nose with a clear bubble gum aroma along with some strawberry and cherry. More of the same on the palate with medium acid, a hollow mid palate and not much of a finish. Not undrinkable by any means but just not what I was looking for as I prefer more earthy fruit and rustic elements in my primitivo. This is the type of wine that is perfect to serve to that family member who comes over for Sunday dinner and puts ice in your brunello.

Some of the authentic dusty dark berry of a good zin, but overwhelmed by jammy strawberry flavors.
