Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Fairly pale ruby, fairly narrow pale rim is showing some brick. Still quite youthful looking. Even from a foot away, the perfume explodes - fresh redcurrants and cherries with a richly earthy base and floral touches. Rustic - in the sense of a country garden just beginning to run wild - and not much depth to it, but charming. Mouth entry is soft - even dilute - with just a touch of earthy red fruit, but surprisingly dense mouthfeel. Mid-palate shows traces of red fruit and rich dry earth : this party is just about over ! Finish has quite nice grip, but again lacks richness and dimension. A very classy *. *
