  Slightly dirty deep garnet. Sweet, jammy, quite intense nose with ripe blackberries and thyme, getting nutty with air. Medium body, very smooth, slightly sweetish with somewhat balancing bitterness and light acidity. The elements show in turns, but somehow fail to integrate. Bitter chocolate, black pepper, plummy jam. Very long. Slightly drying tannins, mint, light spiciness and apricot kernels in the long aftertaste.
