Dujac Dinner with Jeremy Seysses (Charlie Trotter's - Chicago IL): I brought this as a fun addition to the lineup and was very pleasantly surprised by how well it showed. I believe it was open an hour+ when served and wish we popped and poured. At first it showed great dried rose petal character. Earthy flavors with lingering red cherry and very good textures. Dropped off in interest after about 15 minutes, then stayed all night at a very earthy plateau.

Classic Dujac nose from the stems, with lots of floral notes when first poured. Some remnants of red fruit alongside some excellent forest floor character. The fruit faded quickly, perhaps lasting 30 minutes, after which the tertiary character was only moderately interesting, with a bit too much acidity.
