  A dark colour for something that has 50% Pinot Noir in it. The nose is amazing, young, fresh cherry & berry fruit with creamy aspects. Light in the mouth, and the flavour can't keep up with the nose, but this is a very pleasant and well made wine - good balance of acidity and (light) tannins, some bitterness on the mid-palate and medium-long finish. This went exceptionally well with roast lamb and benefitted from being slightly chilled. 84-85pts..
