이젠 좀 진부한 표현이지만 그래도 히딩크 와인으로 유명한 샤또 딸보.
딸보는 꽤 많이 보셔본 것 같은데 이정도 올빈은 처음 먹어봤다.
표현을 빌리자면 물처럼 꿀꺽꿀꺽 마실 수 있는 와인.
노즈에서는 잘 익은 와인 특유의 오크향이 난다.
이어서 가죽향도 나기 시작하는데 말그대로 잘 익은 보르도스럽다.
다행히 오래된 와인임에도 환원취같은 기분 나쁜 향은 없었다.
팔렛에서는 20년이나 지난 와인임에도 탄닌이 꽤 강한 편이었다.
아마 블라인드로 마셨으면 올빈이라고 안했을 수도?
구조감이 아직도 짱짱하고, 산도도 적절해서 맛있게 마셨던 술.

Color: dense ruby/plum/purple with hints of evolution at the rim.
Aroma: Reviews mention a mix of fruit and savory notes, some black currant, licorice, cedar, and foresty elements, subtle herbaceousness hints , as well as of smoke.
Palate: expected more richness and full body, but at this age, it's partially past its prime. lighter tannins compared to its younger counterparts. Some flavors of black fruit, some earthiness, and spice hints.
Bottom line: good nose, weak palate. drink now.
