Bright amber colour. can smell the richness and sweetness of the first sip. Honey, marzipan, nutty and rancio flavours. in mouth, it is bold, rich and powerfull. I usually appreciate and rate Dalva ports in a higher manner. This bottle lacks of acidity and subtlety to balance the alcohol. paired with cheeses but would better pair with deserts.

Nuts in the nose, very fresh start, slightly sour. Sweet with marzipan. In the finish the nuts are dominating again, lots of hazelnuts and walnuts. Great Colheita.

Rancio character with hints of burnt orange. Quite a strong line of acidity through this that gave it length on the finish as well as keeping it fresh.

2019 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2019-9/28/2019 (Portugal): Bottled in 2019. Amber orange in color. Woody notes and caramel on the nose. Rich, lush mouthfeel with orange spice and good acidity on the palate. Great long finish.

Sammamish Port Club - August 2019 (Sammamish, Washington): Note of light cinnamon, caramel, and some orange spice. Great salinity and acidity on the palate. Very long finish with orange peel, great acidity, and balance.
