  • Mahogany colour, pale. Some barnyard funk on the nose. Past its prime but still nice to drink. Took about 2 hours to open up. Not much fruit left .... some cranberry. Get some leather, herbal, minerality. Not a lot of depth to the wine.

  • Med pale mahogany, the colour of a 10 yr old tawny - nice barnyardy, cherry/strawberry nose with whiffs of leather and spice - I really like this, but it is a bit different - lacks a bit of depth and intensity of fruit, but it is delicate, Pinot-like, and tasty, well balanced with some lovely perfumey flavours, not simply primary fruit - v. int Pinot for $22!! Beat the heck out of the comparably priced Burgundy.
