  I agree with others tasting notes, but liked the wine more. In fact I think this wine shows that 07's are better than reported. Yes they don't have the power and dominate fruit that 06 Oregon pinot has, but that isn't a drawback at least for me. I have had watery 07's that rightly gave the vintage a bad rep, but this wine is not in that category. The only thing I didn't like about this wine was the previously mentioned tartness, although it did fade with time.

  Notes from day 2. Reddish color. Nice nose of ripe strawberries, red raspberry liqour, little cola, and a little herbal funk. On the palate there is red raspberry, cranberry, the dirt on the forest floor, little minerality, and a hint of spice. The length of the finish is average, but the acidity seems a bit off and the fruit is on the tart side with too dirty flavors for me. Another 07 disappointment for me. 50+5+12+13+5
