Medium gold, almost sauternes like. On the nose, some remarkably fresh stone fruit, apricot, nectarine, blossom as well as some dried almost stewed apple and pear. Even some bready biscuit notes. Lots of tertiary, almonds and honey. Very pretty and complex. Well balanced on the palate, medium body, alcohol and acidity with good lingering finish.

(From magnum) Bright gold. Pronounced bouquet of white fruits, dried apricots, not overly mature - a real delight and surprise at our Christmas table complimenting a dinner of baked ham & baked cod. Beautifully balanced long, holding up. Muscular. Chante Aloutte in it’s 20’s is a marathon runner in her sixties. Sinewy. Still something to behold and look at.

From methusalem. Surprisingly good. No signs of fatigue,a classy white hermitage, vibrant with minerals galore, citrus, butter, a somewhat light, clear cut style. #Chapoutier#Tain

touch of cork taint on this. ruining what seems to be a nice back ground of stone and tropical fruit with nice oxidative notes. Approaching death in the next few years I beleive
