  Refreshing and sweet dark cherry fruit. Fully open and lush, in a good way where it still retains its freshness.
  Lovely acidity and low tannins. Lovely.

  Pulled the cork to see the telltale signs of "compromise"... Held the bottle to my nose and no cardboard, must or other foul odours. Poured a taster and wow, this puppy has promise. Let it decant for an hour and it opened like a blossom in the warm summer air. Complex with fruit, tar, pecans and a hint of smoke. The window was declared as 2008-2012, but this is still strong and ready to go for a couple more.
