Tasted at TdA in Paris, this wine had a gold center and clear rims, The high- intensity nose offered up crème brûlée, lemon, white stone, and almond paste.
In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe with great acidity and lovely length.
Despite a hint of taint, this was outstanding but faded after a couple hours. An untainted bottle of this would likely have scored higher. My guess is that anyone holding this wine should be rushing to open it.
