A winemaker without a history behind in his family. He was a nuclear technology specialist before he devoted himself to organic and biodynamic viticulture. Medium garnet colour. Intense smoky and complex aroma of dried raspberries, prunes, leather, toasted vanilla, spices, chocolate, earth, eucalyptus. Medium+ body, smoky and char flavoured black fruits goes well in hand with well integrated high acidity and velvety medium tannins. A well aged peaking Hermitage with probably few years still left in it.

Translucent, garnet; an attractive animally, farmyardy mix, beguiling soft red fruits; good strength, real stuffing, broad soft, deft fruit, well proportioned; fully mature, thoroughly enjoyable.

Some etheral notes that disappeared after while. Pepper and liquorice notes. Juicy, forward and easy going for a Hermitage. Nice tannin structure supports the juicy style. Anyway, a well made and good wine, bought for less than 20 €.

Surprisingly forward and fruity, with lashings of vanilla oak, which rather undermines the overall enjoyment. This could use some more time for the oak to integrate, but the oak seems to be over done.

(Eric Texier Hermitage) My notes are somewhat sparse on this one as it was in an embryonic state. Just tons of fruit and structure with great richness. Very well balanced. That's it.

A bit tired on the nose, with dried fruits, dates and nuts. Light weighted and polished on the palate. Drink up!
