  Celebrating Neil's 75th & Chinese New Year (Sun Wah, Chicago): Originally bottled in 1964, rebottled in 2000. In a word, gorgeous. Aromas of toffee, caramel, candied raspberry and cherry. Rich and unctuous, with flavors of spice, apricot, walnuts and toffee. 95-96 pts.

  A Heavenly Quartet Madeira tasting at Henriques & Henriques (Camara de Lobos): Bottled 1964, rebottled 2000. The deepest colour of the heavenly quartet; very complex and rich, nuts and caramel, ethereal topnotes, layered; wonderfully structured, excellent acidity, never too sweet; beautiful balance, less woody than very old Barbeito's. Perfection.
