  Popped and poured, let it breathe for 15 minutes. Anise, cracked pepper, black cherry and a hint of floral notes on the nose. On the palate, elegant structure of black pepper, blackberry, black cherry with supple tannins and a nice level of acidity to stand up to the aged Gouda I paired with it. A long finish that started with the black fruits with a hint of violet showing up a little later.
