The last of 3 btls (first in 4/08, 2nd in 3/09). This is a remarkable wine that is still drinking wonderfully. Incredibly effusive and unique nose of brambly blackberry and vanilla. In the mouth, over-ripe plum, fig, and some interesting vegetable flavors (not green, but weird stuff, like eggplant). There was something about this wine that reminded me of mencia, but not sure what. Overall, very different and unique but in a great way. Will definately keep my eye open for more of this in updated vintages. This really shows what France does better than everyone else. To imagine a $12 California wine being anything close to this is silly!

Shocked to find this still drinking so well; the wine remains fresh on the palate with tart red fruit, flowers and minerals dominating; has the weight and mouthfeel of a fine cru beaujolais. I could drink this all day long....

Best bottle yet; truly unbelievable how good this wine is for the money; fresh, pure fruit still with plenty of stuffing - I thought this would be on the way down by now. . .glad to have a few more bottles.

Oh, I'm much too fabulous to write another tasting note for this wine! I like it; it's tasty and a good value. I bought a few and I'm sad that this is my last bottle.
