This tawny is a deep red color with just the faintest glimpse of orange on the horizon. The nose is strong, alcoholic, but telling of strong fruits. The attack fulfills this with a strong burst of red fruits and hint of citrus and menthol. This took to decanting well, it knocked the sharpness down a notch. Not a bad buy. 3 people drank the whole bottle in one night... I plead the 5th!

Deep red garnet indicating primary fruit notes, with little nuttiness or complexity, very simple

I might like tawny ports better than ruby ports!
