Ruby w/ some separation at the rim. Med. opaque - could read thru most of it. Med. plus intensity nose of cedar and earth and maybe mushroom? Not showing much primary fruit right now. Some cherry liqueur notes. Intense palate. Sharp. Bittersweet. Not dead but dried out. Medicinal. More tannic than expected. Also more acidic. Out of balance. Pretty awful. My fault. Never supposed to go this long. Shame, too, b/c it shows nice purity and silkiness. After some time open I can amend this slightly. It is showing some life. Drinkable. Nothing great. Notes of twigs and latex balloons. Well shit. Sorry I keep changing this. It is much better now, showing Grenache character and decent fruit. Weird.

Great wine. Initial flavors and aromas of red fruit, mushroom, and cedar which quickly changed to rasins and coffee. Very balanced wine, great everyday drinker! I'll definietly buy more.

Really good for the price. Red fruit came out big with some food along with some spice on the end. Tannins are very soft and rounded, making it easily approachable. Would make a great house red - especially at under 10 bucks.

a very good QPR, soft tannins and good fruit with a touch of spice. Went very well with pizza last night.
