Alex and Fiona's pre-wedding tasting (Lucas, Klapsons Hotel, Singapore): Negative reviews on CT notwithstanding, we actually found this to be an excellent Bourgogne. Very expressive nose, with bright red fruit, all rather sweet and sappy, lovely florals and a nice earthy, mushroomy bass note. The palate was clean, fresh, and very nicely succulent with cherry fruit accompanied by that nice note of earth and mineral that I picked up on the nose. A very decently length finish with a lick of spice rounded the wine off. Simple, but balanced, delicious and food friendly. An really good Bourgogne.

Medium bodied, smooth, harmonious. Typical Pinot Noir flavors, no dominant flavors.
