En Primeur campaign for the 2022 vintage Day Four (Bordeaux): From Magnum. Initially fresh but with a slight green underpin and little else. On the palate it has a touch of sourness, textured burr on the mid palate but this feels a bit too tired and flat. Not a good example.

lanolin, mineral, white flowers on the nose and palate. Wet stone and hay. Balanced with nice acidity. Evolved with air. Nice wine.

fill was high shoulder and the cork was black and fungated on top and removed easily intact. The wine was still a relatively light gold, lovely and understated. Old white bordeaux is such a treat.
