Delicious, while still young. I was a bit concerned at first because of the deep golden color that made me think this could be premox but luckily it was not. It is rich, balanced, creamy and very long, with a bright acidity and lovely floral aromas. It has a long life ahead, but it already delivers much pleasure.

Theme: Burgundy (Summer Pavilion @ Ritz Carlton): Popped and Poured. Double blind. Mouth coating and palate staining intensity. Painfully intense with insane power but not heavy, with stunning purity of fruits, dry extract etc and length. Not many wines can achieve this level of intensity and when P revealed the bottle, we all know why. This has got everything for the long run, just tightly coiled and too young! A true full Monty.

Rich and intense with white flower, honey and gentle oak. Lots of intensity on the palate but it lacked some finesse of a great montrachet.
