Drank with our friends at Za in Pennington. Was hoping for more from this bottle. étude Pinot heirloom is one of my favorite Calif style Pinots.
Popped and poured, this bottle probably needed a healthy decant to be fair. Very tight in the first 30 minutes, started to open up with some primary dark fruits, floral, lavender, blackberry, candy/cola on the finish. Nice wine, may improve over time

Tasted quickly at Pinot on River Fest. Burgundian style with earth & musk on nose. High acid on finish, btu that will probably integrate well with time.
