Least favorite of three bottles. Aroma of oak barrel but not much else. Full-bodied taste of dried fruit and bold red cherry, but not as velvety a mouth feel as in the past. Still good, and would get again, but this one just didn't seem up to the other two.

Purple/maroon wine that was very dry and tart initially. After opening a while, earthy meat and spice flavors came through, with a little candied cherry. More of an old world style as opposed to big Napa fruit. Dry finish.

Mint, rosemary, cedar and oak. Gritty finish. No fruit here.

Oak and black cherry nose. Mouthful of berry, well balanced, velvety feel.

Opened and in the bottle for 2 hours. Dark purple color, very soft and velvety with red cherry taste. A great mouth feel.
