Served on Memorial Day Sunday; we had served a 2010 Big Game from the Farm first, and opened this afterwards. The Goldschmidt didn't compare well. Not sure if I held this too long, but there didn't seem to be much going on, either to smell or to taste. Short finish, lacked the robustness of fruit of a newer cab, but didn't have the complexity and depth that I associate with a mature cab.

Excellent wine and appears to be ready to go. Very nice as we had it over 2 nights and it held up beautifully for both nights. Absolutely fantastice Alexander Valley Cab!

Black color. Concentrated blackberry & black currant on the nose with some faint floral elements. Lush entry of structured, slightly hot black fruit that becomes dusty into the finish. Better than typical Alexander Valley cabernet.

Hennepin Lake's Annual Tasting (Tons of Napa Cabs) (Minneapolis, MN): Nice wine with oak, vanilla, spice, floral and dark fruits. Structured wine and needs time in the cellar.
