  Tasted blind during South American Reds Night. Dark garnet hues turning crimson at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is very Bordeaux with notes of earth, leather, and oak. The palate is full-bodied, round and supple. Flavors of dark berries, tobacco, meat, espresso, and toasted oak form the core. Finishes long and earthy. Drink now until 2020. 93+

  Great Wine, still very vital, no sign of oxidation yet, medium red, dark fruit with well balanced power and spicy. Good balance. Probably no more potential to go higher but should be drink fine over the next 2-3 years.

  À l’œil, le vin est d’un rubis très sombre. Le nez est quand même pas mal boisé, moyennement expressif et on peut y noter du fruit noir. En bouche par contre, c’est pas mal plus bavard. Oui c’est boisé, mais le bois est présent et non agressant. Il laisse rapidement la place à un fruit noir profond dominé par la mûre, à un beau côté fumé – toasté et la finale est longue, mais n’assèche pas la bouche. Le cèdre fait aussi son apparition avec le temps. Malgré la haut taux d’alcool (15%), on ne sent pas réellement le côté désagréable qu’il peut apporter parfois. Ce vin a beaucoup de matière, en donne pas mal en ce moment, mais fera sûrement une belle bouteille dans quelques années.
