On the nose I found spice, herbs, earth, raspberries, spicy, pepper, and plum. In the mouth I found cherry, plum, raspberries, and red fruit. This was one of those wines that I just didn’t notice how much of it I was drinking. It went down really easy, and did seem to be a great table wine.

65% syrah. Cofermented with viognier. And then the five bordeaux varieties + caremenere. Cool climate syrah and so the aromatics hint that way. Teh palate shows more of teh Bordeaux varities to me. Light and lively. Certainly very fun to drink. I guess I am not in love with it but for $21.99 it is certainly worth it.

This was an excellent wine. I found the nose to be peppery and pleasant. The front palate was full of plum and progressed smoothly to a spicy finish at the back. This was a nice and full experience that left me wanting more. The wine opened up a bit after resting and was just as pleasant the next day. I would drink now or in the next year.

Not bad for $14 a bottle, a little hot. It was an easy drinker with dinner.
