Mature CdP. It gives a nice bouquet and a complex palate, with some fruit, earth and plum. The wine itself is on the sweet side, with a drying finish. Very nice. This bottle was in a bit better state - less plummy - than previous bottle.

Red cherries, lavender, graphite with secondary notes coming through. This is peak drinking right now as the fruit will slow to fade and show more alchohol over the next few years. Open for business now, ready to drink now and over the next few years.

The domaine usually produces big shouldered, tannic wines. For the 2006 it is a good moment for drinking - chilled to 18 degrees that is. Slight brownish edge in the glass. Modest nose. Fruity with slightly dry, smooth tannins. A nice balance between primary and tertiary aromas. Can keep easily for some more years.

Very smooth, bit on the sweet side, with some fruit, some spice and lots of plum. Fully mature and to drink up. Very nice!
