- Crimsom color and aromas of cloves and dusty and has flavours of cherry and black pepper - Definitely drink now. Cherry and good spice dance on your palate. Nice finish.

This is the second vintage in a row I liked this wine, which is odd because I like so little cabernet franc. I guess both 2005 and 2005 were ripe vintages in the Paso Robles area which explains why I didn't get the greenness I so often associate with cab franc, although that doesn't work in the Loire. Not a lot on the nose except some berry and a touch of alcohol. The palate is balanced with cherries, dark fruit and soem spice. A little bit of acid but not too bad. A nice mouthfeel.
