A decent 30 y.o Oloroso with a nice nose of raisins, nuts and a little wood (perhaps a bit too much old back gate aroma showing here). Decent glowing and warming flavour, very dry style, but without the richness or real complexity of the best wines in this class. Good enough.

Spain: Day 5 - the Sherry extravaganza at Casa Barquin (Granada): oh well... i didnt like this at all... this was the tiny bit left in the bottle and that may have been the reason but: a bit too oxydised, vol. acidity on the nose, nice fruitiness that comes out in midpalatte...
